Tribal Tattoos

This past weekend I decided to celebrate my birthday by getting another tattoo. I went for a tribal band, made famous by Native Americans. This tattoo style has crossed over to mainstream culture. The bands often have a distinct pattern that is reminiscent of Native American culture. Often times they are worn around the bicep. Other tattoo trends are coyfish (native to Asian culture) and butterflies. Do you have any tattoos? What inspired them?

    Thanks! I got mine going around my ankle. I will post a pic after it's done scabbing.
